This was the alternate action scene idea that I worked up in parallel to the one we’re following. Lucasfilm asked for two concepts. At the rebel base, Barriss would do exhibition combat competitions with the Rebel martial arts instructor, who was a colorful character in the story.
…but this one was the chosen by Lucasfilm.
