“Image progression” by Dave Seeley
This is a royalty free stock shot in a health and fitness collection. She seemed a good start for a character who had a Zen healing power. I knew that almost none of this picture would survive the final, but it’s good to have a template to make sure anatomy is right. It’s laying in a kind of structure.
This head was pulled in from another image, and darkened under her face where she will have a hooded cloak. The Lucasfilm archive had several shots of the actress in costume, but I preferred this shot after pushing it around a bit digitally.
