“Image progression” by Dave Seeley
I enlarged the shot and turned off the type layer for now.
Here I began sketching in Photoshop. I was thinking that if this was outside, my scene might be happening inside…so this was building some kind of window wall structure. The book was described by my art director as a kind of MASH in space. The main character was a padawan named Barriss Offee, who had healing powers enhanced by the force. So I was thinking I could put her in the context of a medical “tent” in action.
