6-In this case i choose (Mexican Palm Tree) from the tree list,

7-So now let me introduce you to some of the options which are available in the Material Editor, in the front of every single object in the general tab under Ecosystem Population category, you will find spinner boxes,
1-Scale= by increasing and decreasing the values you would be able to scale up and down your individual plants or trees in the scene, this works only in single object not globally,
2-Presense= this option is pretty neat, suppose you want to double or half the amount of the selected plant then the rest in the scene this option is for you, by increasing and decreasing you will affect in the density of your individual plants or trees in your scene,
Note: The value of 1=100% and the value of 2=200% don’t increase the values more then 2 or 3 otherwise you will end up with some unnecessary objects which will drive your nuts while rendering, 

8-Click on the (Density) tab this is pretty self explanatory which deals with the Density of your ecosystem, pretty straight forward,

9-Now on the (Scaling & Orientation) tab this is the slider which deals with the scale of your objects in the scene this will affect your objects Globally,
