Making of Qiane

I detail in her feet and add some fabric on the bed which has crumpled because of the weight/shifting of her feet.

I added the cherry-blossom tree to break up the negative space of the sky. The cherry blossom is a very delicate flower that blooms for a very short time and it is symbolic of the transience of life.Because of this I thought it would be appropriae for the image. I also experimented with really long hair for Qiane and did a rough sketch of how it would flow in the image.

Here I started adding soft shadows on the bed and also defined the shape of the bed a bit more.I also posted this image in forums for some feedback regarding the composition.

Based on the feedback I received I decided to crop the image.I think this put much more emphasis on the goddess herself.I added small details all over the image- her jewelry, the bed, the sky etc and refined it further.
