7. I just use simple background, because the vocal paint is the figure. Add new layer for the background, you can have fun there and try to netter understanding the brush character; you will take advantage from that someday. From time to time I use color correction (shortcut ctrl + shift + k) and flip horizontally the picture

Drag the brush set to program files-Corel-Brushes-Painter Brushes
There you can use it and have fun with it, you can use brush creator to change the setting stuff. I hope it is useful
