The Dynamics Controls allows you to alter the way the cloth reacts. Each setting effects a certain behavior and the manual has a great explanation for each. For the first pass, I will leave everything at the default settings and click the “Calculate Simulation” button.

It Drapes the cloth for 5 frames…

…and then it starts the simulation. The number next to the frame number is how many seconds that frame took to calculate. Some simulations can take minutes depending on the complexity.

When it has finished, you will be at the last frame of the timeline and hopefully, you clothing prop will still be fitted neatly to your figure.
Time to render this thing to see how it looks. Go back to the “Pose” room and position your camera where you want. Chances are, your image map is not in the same place that the dress prop thinks it is, so you will need to reassign it in the Materials Room.
To do that, click the dress prop, then click the Materials room tab above the stage.
